COMECE welcomes the new EU rules on Work-Life Balance allowing parents and carers to better reconcile their work and family lives. The agreement, which comes after three years of negotiations between the EU institutions, introduces minimum rules on paternity leave and supports EU citizens providing care to family members in need of assistance.
Representatives of youth organisations and EU policy makers gathered on Thursday 11 April 2019 to exchange with Mgr. Jean-Claude Hollerich, S.J., President of COMECE, on ways to fully empower young people at all levels of economic, social and political life.
In view of the 2019 EU elections, COMECE and Don Bosco International organise a lunch debate to discuss the involvement of young people in society. This event will take place at the COMECE Secretariat on 11 April 2019 from 12h30 to 14h30.
