On 15 May 2019, H.E. Mgr. Mariano Crociata, First Vice President of COMECE, together with Fr. Olivier Poquillon, o.p., General Secretary of COMECE, participated in the debate "(Re)thinking Europe: the social doctrine of the Church in action", organised in Milan by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. They both intervened on the role of the Catholic Church in the EU and on COMECE's mission of dialogue with the EU.
On the occasion of the ACLI-organised conference on "A social and labour Europe", organised in Paris on 14-16 May 2019, H.E. Mgr. Mariano Crociata, First Vice President of COMECE, address the audience with a keynote entitled "Il futuro dell'Europa sociale", which can be downloaded and read here.
