EVENT | Season of Creation 2022. Join the online meeting on the “Fit for 55” Package

02/09 - The European Laudato Si’ Alliance (ELSiA) invites you to participate in the online meeting on the “Fit for 55” Package to implement the Green Deal. The event will take place on Thursday 8 September 2022 from 15:00 to 16:00 (CET) with the participation of Dr. Gregor Erbach from the European Parliamentary Research Service.
The online meeting will be moderated by Stefan Lunte, General Secretary of Justice and Peace Europe. The event is organised in the context of the Season of Creation 2022.

OPPORTUNITY | Workshop on the state of democracy in the EU to take place in mid-September

11/07 - The group "Passion for Europe" proposes a residential workshop in the city of Namur (Belgium) on the future of democracy in the European Union. The event is organised under the umbrella of the Jesuit European Social Centre (JESC), one of COMECE's Brussels-based partners. The initiative will take place on 16-18 September 2022. Fr. Manuel Barrios Prieto will participate in an ELSiA Retreat in Drongen.

29-30 September
The COMECE Legal Affairs Commission will be chaired by its President Mgr. Hoogenboom and will focus on the fight against child sexual abuse online, the primacy of EU law over national law, cross-border family law, GDPR, discrimination on grounds of religion.

12-14 October
The COMECE 2022 Autumn General Assembly will take place in Brussels (Belgium).
