13/07 - Following his recent trip to Poland and Ukraine, the General Secretary of the International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC), H.E. Mgr. Robert J. Vitillo, participated in an Article 17 Dialogue meeting at the European Parliament on the Humanitarian response to the war in Ukraine. The event was hosted by Othmar Karas, First Vice-President of the European Parliament and responsible for Article 17 TFEU. The participation of Mgr. Vitillo was facilitated by COMECE. The group was composed of former students of theology from the University of Lorraine in Metz (France). During the meeting, the group had also the chance to exchange with Fr. Manuel Barrios Prieto, General Secretaries of COMECE, and with Nicola Speranza, General Secretary of the Federation of Catholic Family Associations in Europe (FAFCE).
