Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich SJ, President of COMECE, share his thoughts about the current and future challenges of Europe and, especially, about the role of the Church in Europe. He defined populisms as a "danger for Europe" and stated to "dream of a Europe as space of freedom, where brothers and sisters work for peace, common good, human rights and the environment".

Manuel Barrios Prieto, will participate in the event "Dialogue between Christians and Marxists" to be held at the European Parliament on Tuesday 8 November 2022 from 17:00 to 19:00 (CET). The event is organised by The Left Group at the European Parliament and by DIALOP. The event will include the presentation of a DIALOP position paper.

04/11 - The European Laudato Si' Alliance (ELSiA) organises a webinar on COP27 and the role of Catholics in Climate Action. The event is to take place on Tuesday 15 November 2022 at 12:00 (CET). Journalist Lou Del Bello will moderate the round table discussion with speakers and climate change experts Lydia Machaka (CIDSE), Fr. Eduardo Scarel (Laudato Si' Movement) and Fr. Charlie Chilufya SJ (Jesuit Justice and Ecology Network). The webinar will be in English with interpretation in Italian and French.
