Work-Life-Balance 4.0 – Challenges in a Time of Digitalisation

Digitalisation is changing our society in many ways. New forms of employment are emerging, new professions are being created, others will disappear and our ways of communication is changing. But what does this mean for our private life? What influence does this development have on our everyday life in society and with our family?

To address these issues, COMECE, with its partners from the European Sunday Alliance (ESA), the Members of the European Parliament Evelyn Regner (S&D) and Thomas Mann (EPP), as well as the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) organise on 15 November 2016 a one-day conference on “Work-Life-Balance 4.0 – Challenges in a Time of Digitalisation”.

Participants will have the opportunity to discuss in two panel debates with representatives of the EU institutions, experts and high-ranking members of the European Sunday Alliance about the flexibilisation of working hours and their impact on private life and social engagement. The event will take place in the premises of the European Economic and Social Committee (Rue Van Maerlant 2, BE-1000 Brussels).

Free participation. Valid passport or identity card required.

Registration mandatory by Friday 4 November latest via the website of European Sunday Alliance.

Interpretation into English, French, German and Spanish (passive) will be provided.
