Youth Platform news

The COMECE Youth Platform brings together over ten European Catholic youth organisations to address youth-related issues and empower young Europeans. Through its advocacy work, it engages with institutional stakeholders, encouraging the EU institutions to incorporate young people’s voices into policymaking and to ensure a fair and inclusive future for all generations.

Meetings of the Platform also serve as an opportunity to share updates on current youth projects and initiatives, fostering synergies among members at both European and national levels.

Each year, the Youth Platform focuses on a main project, presenting the views, challenges and contributions of Catholic youth organisations in its regular exchanges with EU policymakers.

The Catholic organisations currently members of the COMECE Youth Platform are as follows: COMECE, Don Bosco Youth-Net, FIMCAP Europe, International Coordination of Young Christian Workers, International Young Christian Workers, European section of the International Young Catholic Students, JECI-MIEC, MIJARC Europe, Young Caritas Europa. Observer members are: BDKJ, Don Bosco International and the Jesuit European Social Centre.
