At a time of profound geopolitical change and increasing global competition, Europe is challenged to reaffirm its identity, strengthen its unity and build resilience. In his new book, Fr. Prof. Elmar Nass explores the intellectual, cultural and political foundations of European freedom and offers perspectives on Europe’s role in an evolving world order.
The event will provide an opportunity to reflect on Europe’s values, responsibilities and future in an increasingly contested global environment, followed by a discussion with the author and distinguished guests.
The event is hosted at the European Parliament by MEP Dennis Radtke (EPP Group) and co-organised by COMECE.
The original title of the book is Europas Traum der Freiheit. Für Einheit und Resilienz im globalen Kampf der Kulturen.
