The book Pensare Francesco. Storia, memoria e uso politico, published by Il Mulino, will be presented at the Italian Institute of Culture in Brussels on Monday, 12 October 2026. The event marks the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi and is part of the 26th Week of the Italian Language in the World. Click here to register
The event will feature Andrea Possieri, Professor at the University of Perugia, and Giacomo Gambassi, journalist at Avvenire, who will engage in a dialogue accompanied by images, sounds and video. The Apostolic Nuncio to Belgium, Archbishop Franco Coppola, will also attend.
The event is co-organised by the Italian Institute of Culture, the Apostolic Nunciature to Belgium and the Embassy of Italy in Brussels. Online registration is mandatory for in-person participation. The event will be held in Italian. Click here to register
