How can Europe respond to the challenges that the digital revolution is bringing to the world of work? This question will be at the heart of the presentation of ¿Cómo responde Europa? Revolución digital y transformación del trabajo, published by the Fundación Pablo VI and coordinated by Domingo Sugranyes, to be held in Brussels on Wednesday, 11 November 2026, from 9:30 to 11:00. Registration now open

The book brings together contributions from more than 30 authors, including former European Commission President Romano Prodi and former European Council President Herman Van Rompuy, exploring how Europe can respond to the profound changes that digitalisation and artificial intelligence are bringing to the world of work.
The programme will include a presentation of the book by Jesús Avezuela, Director General of the Fundación Pablo VI, and Domingo Sugranyes, coordinator of the publication, followed by a keynote contribution from Ignasi Guardans, former Member of the European Parliament and Professor at Sciences Po Paris.
The discussion will also feature Liviu Stirbat, Head of the European Commission’s AI in Science & Critical Technologies Unit, and Paolo Garonna, President of the Vatican Foundation Centesimus Annus pro Pontifice. Fr. Manuel Barrios Prieto, Secretary General of COMECE, will also contribute to the discussion.
The event is co-organised by Fundación Pablo VI and the Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the European Union (COMECE).
