Fr Joseph Oyewole Oyekunle

Fr Joseph was born in Lagos, Nigeria, in September 1985 and was ordained a Catholic priest of the Archdiocese of Lagos in November 2018. He obtained degrees in Philosophy and Theology from the Seminary of Ss Peter and Paul, Bodija, Ibadan, Nigeria. He is currently pursuing a Licentiate in Institutional Communication at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. He also holds a degree in Computer Science from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Nigeria, and a diploma in Journalism from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism.

Fr Joseph served as a parish priest in the Archdiocese of Lagos for five years and also worked as an Assistant Director of Communications.

Fr Joseph is passionate about Church communications and family catechesis. He enjoys playing football and chess, as well as reading novels.

He speaks Yoruba, his native language, English and Italian.
