Alessandro Calcagno

Alessandro is originally from Genova (Italy) and has been working at the COMECE Secretariat since 2007, seconded by the Italian Bishops’ Conference.

In 2002 he graduated in Law at the University of Genova with a thesis concerning Computer law. He worked in Italy in a Civil law firm and has publications on themes such as privacy, contract law, property law and insurance law. He also has work experience as legal translator.

He is married to Kasia, from Poland. Alessandro loves playing chess, listening to modern and classical music, reading (mainly 20th century history books) and he is passionate about American sports.

He speaks Italian, English, some French and Polish.
