Alix de Wasseige

Alix is originally from Paris (France) and has been working at the COMECE Secretariat since 2020. She obtained her BA in Political Science and History at the Ludwig Maximilian University (Germany) and did an ERASMUS programme at the University of Exeter (United Kingdom). She has a master’s degree in Management from the Sorbonne University (France).

She previously worked for the European Ecumenical network Eurodiaconia advocating for social justice and did a traineeship at the European Commission’s DG EMPL.

Alix has been an active volunteer in various organisations (Scouts, social commitments). Deeply interested in the work of the Church in the EU and seeking to enhance youth participation, she launched an initiative on the CST in Brussels, Les Bâtisseurs, which gathered over 150 young alumni in two years.

She speaks French, English and German.
