EVENT | Conference at the European Parliament on inclusive participatory company models

The Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the European Union (COMECE) invites you to participate in the conference “Towards a new model for companies in Europe”, to take place at the European Parliament in Brussels on Wednesday 3 May 2023 from 13:00 to 15:30 (CET). Click here to register

The event features a main discussion panel on how to achieve more inclusive and participative companies in Europe. The Mondragón experience will be presented as an inspiration towards new company business models based on inclusive participation.

  • Oliver Röpke, President of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC);

  • Sigrid Marz, Member of the Board of the International Christian Union of Business Executives (UNIAPAC);
  • Isabelle Schomann, European Trade Union Confederation, (ETUC);
  • Mikel Irujo, Government of Navarra (Spain);
  • Víctor Meseguer, Ministry of Labour and Social Economy (Government of Spain);
  • Manuel Barrios Prieto, Secretary General of COMECE.

The event will take place at the European Parliament in Brussels, Altiero Spinelli, Room 3H1, on Wednesday 3 May 2023 from 13:00 to 15:30 (CET). The conference is co-organised by COMECE and the Arizmendiarrieta Foundation. It is hosted by MEP Patrizia Toia. The moderator will be Carlos Trías. Language live interpretation in English, Spanish and Italian will be provided. Participation is limited.
