Join us in commemorating the memory of Robert Schuman, one of the founding fathers of the European Union, on the 60th anniversary of his passing away! COMECE invites you to a special Holy Mass for his soul and in thanksgiving on Monday, September 4, 2023, at 18:30 (CET), at the Chapel for Europe on Rue Van Maerlant 22-24 in Brussels.
In 2021, Pope Francis officially recognized Robert Schuman’s commitment to Christian values by declaring him venerable.
The Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Manuel Barrios Prieto, COMECE’s Secretary General, and Fr. Krystian Sowa, SJ, the Director of the Chapel for Europe.
The event is co-organised by COMECE, the Chapel for Europe and the Institut Saint-Benoît. Everyone is welcome to attend!
