Following the passing of our beloved Pope Francis on the morning of Monday, 21 April 2025, we wish to inform all those living or working in Belgium of the opportunity to attend a commemorative Holy Mass dedicated to the late Pontiff. The Mass will take place on Thursday, 24 April 2025 at 19:00 at the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur in Koekelberg, Brussels.

The ceremony is being organised by the Belgian Bishops’ Conference. It will be presided over by Archbishop Luc Terlinden, President of the Conference, and concelebrated with the other Belgian bishops. More info on the commemorative holy mass is available here.
